Holiday Progressive Party on December 9 a Success

The Avalon Progressive Holiday Party was a special time for community members to get to know each other better and to meet those they had not met before. The décor was beautiful and the refreshments were delicious! Many thanks to those who hosted: the Hemphills, Floyds, and Starks.

Property Improvement Request Forms

If you are planning to make any improvements or alterations to your home or property such as remodeling, relandscaping your front/side yard, or removing a tree in your front/side yard, you need to download a Property Improvement Request Form (PIR) from our website: https://www.avalonhoasc.com/. Click on the menu bar to see Our Official Documents, then click on Property Improvement Request Form and follow instructions.

Yard of the Month Resumes

Some Avalon residents have asked that we resume our monthly recognition of beautiful yards in our neighborhood by having a sign in their front yard. If you are interested in being on the committee that chooses them, contact a board member.

Car Vandalism in Avalon

Recently two vehicles parked in a driveway were vandalized during the night on subsequent weekends. Gasoline was siphoned from one and items from the glove compartment were stolen from another. Please remember to lock your vehicles and do not leave anything valuable in them if they are parked in your driveway. It is preferable to park them in your garage with the garage door fully closed. Be sure to notify the Sheriff’s Department of any crime that you are aware of in Avalon (number listed below).
