Our Avalon Progressive Holiday Party will be in the evening on Saturday, December 9. We need volunteers to host their homes (3). All who plan to attend will sign up to provide specific food and will take it to the appropriate host home by 6:00 pm. It will start at 6:30 pm with appetizers at the first home, then everyone will walk to the second home for hors d’oeuvres, and we’ll end with desserts at the third home. Contact Renard Green at jgreen143@sc.rr.com or 803-5️⃣3️⃣0️⃣-1192 to sign up to host by Wednesday, November 1.
📫 Mailbox & Streetlight Maintenance Reminder
Keep our community looking its best! If your mailbox needs a touch-up or you have obscured streetlights on your property, we encourage you to take some time as the weather gets cooler to make those things right. As an added benefit, mailbox doors which seal and names or numbers on mailboxes are required by the USPS so by sprucing up your mailbox, you are making your local postmaster a little happier!
- Foxy Box Mailbox Makeover: (803-667-0523, foxybox2023@gmail.com) offers cost-friendly fixes.
- Old South Ironworks: (803-295-2748 or 803-331-4367, oldsouthironworks@gmail.com) offers comprehensive services.
Please keep your trees trimmed so that the streetlights will shine clearly onto the street for two house-lengths on both sides. By making this change, we make our community safer for the many folks who enjoy a cooler evening or early morning walk as well as protect against would-be thieves who are able to take advantage of poorly lit areas.
📢 Next HOA Meeting
