Save the Date: Annual HOA Meeting on April 29

Our annual meeting will be on Saturday, April 29 at 5:00 pm with a family picnic afterward. We will be voting for two board members (president and secretary), asking for new committee members, and taking a vote on possible changes to our Declaration of Covenants. Please plan to come…every vote counts!

Would you be interested in serving as a member of our board? We meet once a month on the first Tuesday. Executive Session starts at 6:30 pm and General Session at 7:00 pm, usually finishing by 8:00. We would love for you to join us! If you are interested and would like more information, please contact a board member (email address below), who will give you the job description and answer any questions.

Newly Assigned Deputy Sheriff

We now have Deputy Elliott Rhodes assigned to Avalon.  His phone number is 803-407-6125.

Directives from Capital Waste Services (CWS)

Yard waste shall be properly contained, bundled or bagged. Bags shall not exceed 60-gallon capacity or weigh more than 45 pounds. Cans or other containers used to dispose of yard waste must be clearly and easily identified for that purpose. CWS shall remove up to the equivalent of two collection truck hoppers of yard waste (about 4 feet x 4 feet) during any single week of service. Piles of limbs and branches longer than 4 feet will not be collected.  Limbs must be bundled or neatly stacked to allow CWS to remove the debris safely and efficiently.

 Spring Yard Sale April 22, 2023

 Avalon residents can begin collecting items for our next neighborhood yard sale on Saturday, April 22, which is the week after spring break.

Next HOA Meeting Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00pm

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00pm at 500 Wilts Court.
 
All Avalon homeowners are invited to attend our monthly HOA meetings to discuss issues, ask questions, etc. in person.  We will no longer be using Google Meet. To facilitate communication with our community, the board will be sending email blasts as needed.  Please add  theboard@avalonhoasc.com to your email address list.
 
If you would like to see something changed or added to the budget, please email the board.
