Avalon Annual Meeting on April 26

Mark your calendars for Tuesday night, April 26, at 6:30 pm for our annual meeting.  It will take place in Wilts Court and the Metro Street Grille food truck will be present at 6:00 pm.  Bring your own lawn chairs and enjoy catching up with friends and meeting new neighbors.  In case of inclement weather, we will hold the meeting virtually.

The community will hold elections for the Vice President and Treasurer positions. The Board will mail a letter to every home in Avalon containing 1) a notice of the annual meeting, 2) an optional proxy voting form, and 3) a nomination form for community members to fulfill a specific role on the board. Even community members who run unopposed will require voting to fulfill a position. We also need volunteers to join the Architectural Review Board.

The Board will ask for a Chair or Co-Chairs for the Neighborhood Watch as a liaison to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department (803-785-8230, Extension 1) and our Resident Deputy. If no community members volunteer to fulfill the Neighborhood Watch Chair or Co-Chair position, our community risks losing our accreditation as a Neighborhood Watch Community.

New Residents in Avalon

Welcome to our newest homeowners, Aaron and Jenna Siegel, who moved recently into 227 Sandstone Road.
