AVALON HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES
September 7, 2021
MEETING LOCATION: Google Meet
CALL TO ORDER: 7:07pm
ATTENDANCE: Liz van Staveren, Pres, Mathew Sturdevant, VP and Webmaster, Brandi Sturdevant, Acting Secretary and Media specialist, Ronn Nestor, Tres.
COMMUNITY ATTENDANCE: Carol Rhodes, Welcoming Committee, J Renard Green, Pamela Hemphill
GENERAL SESSION
A - The Agenda was reviewed and approved
A - The August 3, 2021 meeting Minutes were reviewed and approved as is
B - The Treasurer's Report was reviewed and Approved. Ron will have a budget ready for the board members by 9/30.
C - Landscaping Update - We are accepting bids for new contracts.
D - PIR - no new requests.
E - Neighborhood Watch Update - discussed quarterly or monthly meetings to keep up with our neighborhood watch status. A resident also discussed holding regular meetings post covid or outdoors in a cul-de-sac to have the community come together.
F - Mat is going to send out a survey to gauge interest in neighborhood events, like coffee to meet the deputy. Mat is also going to send the survey to see what information people need for technology updates (like facebook, email, google meets, zoom, etc)
G - Russ will have next message about Sept 11, the rest of the month will be other holidays.
