Avalon HOA Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Meeting Location: Zoom


Call to Order: 7:00 PM

Attendance

  • Charlie Smith, President
  • Cindy Peterson, Vice President
  • Debi Mabie, Secretary
  • Ronn Nester, Treasurer
  • Doug Mader, ARB

Community Attendance

  • Mat Sturdevant, Web Master

General Session

  1. The Agenda was reviewed and approved.
  2. The 08/11/20 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved as is.
  3. Treasurer Report was reviewed and approved
  4. The General Meeting was held via Zoom due to the Covid-19 social distancing order.
  5. Ronn submitted the 2020-2021 Proposed Budget and it was approved and will be printed on the back of this month's newsletter.
  6. Mat will put the assessment letter on the web site as well as Steph Andersen’s up coming scheduled food trucks.

Home Improvement Requests

  1. Robert & Sharon Croissant at 805 Annondale Court, plans for in ground pool installation was approved.
  2. Doug will do a follow up on the pergola issue.

Neighborhood Watch

  1. Charlie contacted our resident officer and Due to Covid-19 all programs are canceled until further notice.

ACC Property Improvement Request

  1. Shelly McGeorge requests to widen her driveway.

Welcome Team / New Residents

  1. Charlie will inquire about the sale of 271 Sandstone Road.

Landscaping Front Entrance - Common Area

  1. The board, landscaper and adjacent homeowners Thursday at 7pm to help design behind the Avalon monuments.

Open Forum

  1. Cindy will send a letter to the homeowner that tree branches are blocking the streetlight.
  2. Dominion Electric needs to be called regarding a burnt out streetlight that needs to be replaced.
  3. Mat will get and give Cindy the address of the homeowner to have them cut the branches away from the pole.
