Freecycle Event
8:00-11:00a Thursday, June 25
Freecycling is recycling gently used items to a new home without any cost. Our event would be like a free garage sale.
On Thursday morning, June 25, Avalon residents may place in their driveways items to give away between 8:00-11:00a.
To participate, email Cindy Peterson at jimandcindyp@gmail.com with your name, street address, and phone number.
Community members can drive or walk around the neighborhood and take any items that interest them. It is recommended that they wear a face mask and gloves.
Any items that are not given away may be taken to Brandi Sturdevant’s home at 288 Sandstone Rd by noon. Palmetto Thrift Store will pick up those items and use the sale of them to help local children who have cancer.
Homeowners Annual Assessment
Homeowners Annual Assessment Due July 31. Each home in Avalon needs to submit the annual assessment of $100.00 by July 31. Notices will be mailed out June 15. If you do not receive your notice soon after that, please contact a board member or send an email through our website: http://avalonhoasc.com/.
There will be an extension period of 30 days for those that need it due to the pandemic.
